The Prodi’s wire-tapping are published in an Italian weekly, Panorama, regarding Siemens’ inquiry.
“Since the great emphasis and, at the same time, the insubstantiality of the facts awarding to me – the ex Premier says – I wouldn’t that the artificial creation of this political case would fed the attempt or the temptation to create in a short time a law about wire-tapping.”
This position arrives after that Silvio Berlusconi expressed his solidarity to Romano Prodi, after the notice where there were some helps to the Prodi’s relations business.
The wire-tapping refers to Romano Prodi’s calls in June 2007, when he was Prime Minister, and now they are in the attorney’s office in Rome.
The published texts regard Prodi’s conversation with his adviser, Alessandro Ovi.
The Prodi’s reply to Panorama’s anticipation has been: “It’s evident that this fact haven’t no penal importance” but Panorama says that Prodi sped up the search of a capital’s member for his nephew’s society and he would to unfreeze the public funds.
Prodi explains in his declaration: “As Prime Minister, I took note about the request of an important scientific structure in Emilia Romagna and with the respect of laws I asked to value the expectations to the competent organisms. As uncle’s Luca, I listened to my nephew’s requests and I gave him some advices.”
The truth will come, but the Italians don’t want that this case will be transformed in a justification for a new law that would to limit judges’ power of inquires.

Not to mention how ridiculous it is that the wiretapping were published on one of Berlusoni’s magazines and then he expressed his solidarity to Prodi.
